The Connolly Philosophy
“We are not some mysterious, intimidating academic entity. We’re friendly, real people. We operate efficiently, and focus on what works. We encourage questions, and teach our patients about their health. And we communicate to our patients in a straight forward fashion so they can make informed decisions about their care. In turn, this hands-on approach attracts top notched practitioners- passionate, hardworking people who care deeply about their work, and continue to raise the standards of care at our practice. That’s what sets Connolly Dermatology apart from all other practices, and will help revolutionize the way dermatology is practiced.”
For Dr. Connolly, teaching is in his blood. “My father is a physician, and my mother a teacher, so becoming a dermatologist and instructor was a natural fit for me,” he says. “My work constantly challenges my mind and spirit, and I consider it an honor to have received so many incredible learning opportunities over the years.
“The skin is the largest organ of the body and has so many important functions, including protection from the elements and regulating body temperature; and yet, many people tend to neglect the skin. We want to increase awareness that maintaining your skin’s health is vital to your overall well-being. It’s important to have the skin examined on a regular basis because early skin cancer detection greatly increases you chance of full recovery. Prevention is paramount. One should always practice sun protection and schedule regular visits to the dermatologist.”
Cosmetic Dermatology
In addition to the medical-based conditions treated at Connolly Dermatology, the practice offers a full range of cosmetic treatments performed by Dr. Connolly and his medical team.
Procedures offered at Connolly Dermatology include chemical peel treatments and options for wrinkle reduction include Botox and Juvederm to name a few.
“An informed patient is a healthier and happier patient.” Dr. Connolly believes that patients should gain comfort in knowing they will never be sold a treatment or product that isn’t necessary and that the Connolly Dermatology staff looks to recommend the simplest and most cost-effective regimen.
